WHO IS VAUDRA LTD.?

In 1985, an international private investigation company, Colt Investigations, was formed in Charlotte, North Carolina. This pioneering company began implementing investigative techniques both new and unique to the IPR industry. Colt Investigations quickly became the industry standard that many later tried to emulate. Soon after, they became the centralized information source and starting point for IPR investigations for one of the world’s leading sport shoe manufacturers. Since then, two members of Colt Investigations founded Vaudra Ltd., to continue serving the needs of the international IPR community.

Randall S. Rabenold has been a consultant and investigator of counterfeit and gray market situations since 1993. He served with the United States Secret Service and has a Bachelor of Science degree. His IPR career includes the infiltration of a multi-national counterfeit and smuggling ring. Mr. Rabenold is considered an expert in global parallel market situations and remedies. As part of Vaudra Ltd., he is currently managing the global protection of intellectual property rights for a number of brand owners and oversees undercover operations.

Howard C. Dozier has been involved in intellectual property consulting and investigations since 1994. From 1994 until 1998, he was Director of Investigations for Reebok International, directing their brand protection program globally. The program he implemented was recognized as one of the most successful of its kind in the brand protection industry. Mr. Dozier has also been active in industry-related organizations, having served as an industry representative to the World Customs Organization, and on the anti-counterfeiting committee and Customs recognition committee for the International Trademark Association. Previously, he spent 25 years in law enforcement, with most of his career focused on criminal intelligence and organized crime investigations. Mr. Dozier has his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Gardner-Webb University and has also taken related graduate courses from the University of Louisville.
